Artist's Description
Winter in Yellowstone National Park, United States, is a great time to get a sense of how much the animals travel across the landscape and how much their paths cross on a daily basis. Fresh snow brings fresh tracks. This view is looking down on the snow covered river from the Lamar River bridge. On this day we found the tracks of otters and a lone coyote cruising down the frozen river.

About Ann Skelton
When people ask if I'm a professional photographer, my answer is "I am a passionate photographer!", because I do love it so. I had spent many years in left brain occupations, always knowing my right brain creative side was screaming to get out. As a young person I enjoyed taking pictures, but it was not until later in life that I found photography and creating images to be the perfect outlet. That "Aha Moment" came about a decade ago off the coast of Maui. My husband was photographing humpback whales shortly after making the transition from a 35mm film camera to the digital world. I asked to borrow his new camera one day while out on the boat and never gave it back to him! He literally had to buy another camera. I have fallen in love...
