Description
The crisp morning temperatures help illustrate why the river was named the Firehole by early trappers. The Firehole River winds through several geyser basins within the Park. The geothermal water discharged into the Firehole will raise the temperature of the river water to as high as 86F in Yellowstone National Park, United States.
